The World we all love

I say this others dont but the things pple are churning out and discovering is jus unbelievable.take note of the following :-)
Diagnosing malaria will soon become a hell lot easier with jus a mobile phone and a unique microscope cellscope1.jpg
A research team at UC Berkeley is developing a technology that will enable anyone, anywhere in the world, to diagnose malaria with just a cell phone and a special microscope. The cell phone microscope, called a CellScope, is designed to uncouple the need for a physician to be in the same place as a patient, allowing those who lack the benefits of health care to be properly diagnosed. A diagnosis is performed by putting a slide containing a blood or tissue sample on the Cell Scope.
A ring of bright LEDs illuminates the sample, and if faint blue dots appear, the patient is positive for malaria. The image can then be transmitted to medical experts for analysis and recommendations. The CellScope is also being developed to diagnose tuberculosis, said Wilbur Lam, a postdoctoral fellow in bioengineering who is part of the research team.

Fats around the hips protects from diabetes
For those celibant people who deny the reason hips exist well u have got another reason...scientists have discovered that the fat that accumulates around the hips provides protection against diabetes!!WAY TO GO>!!!!!

Researchers claim that subcutaneous fat in the hips and thighs can lower insulin levels and enhanced insulin sensitivity. Ronald Kahn and his colleagues from Harvard Medical School transplanted subcutaneous fat from the hips and buttocks into the abdomens of mice and found that there was a decrease in body weight, fat mass, glucose and insulin levels and an improvement in insulin sensitivity. By contrast, transplantation of abdominal fat into either the abdominal or subcutaneous area had no effect.

Want to guess wat that is! WEll that is a micro SD projector holla bac baby one time!!!
The true meaning of a portable gizmo is something that can add more value to your product and at the same time can work even in a highly compressed size. This projector offers superior picture quality of images and videos from your SD card. Imagine the brilliance of viewing videos directly from your digital camera and cellphone. In addition to this, it also has ports for you to attach Blu-ray players, DVD players and even video games. It takes just four AA batteries to make the projector function. It may take a toll on you if the projector uses up more juice than what is provided.

Blind get implanted with bionic eyes
My grandmother is blind n one day i hope to see this technology come to fruit and become commercialized..its good to know people out there are pouring heart into such efforts which are of great importance to the human race. This is a huge miracle in the history of medical science. Surgeons have successfully implanted "bionic eyes" in two blind patients, in an attempt to restore some of their vision. The device -- the first of its kind -- incorporates a video camera and transmitter mounted on a pair of glasses. This is linked to an artificial retina, which transmits moving images along the optic nerve to the brain and enables the patient to discriminate rudimentary images of motion, light and dark.bionic-eyes.jpgThe Argus II uses a video camera to capture images. These are converted into electrical signals, which are transmitted wirelessly to the implant behind the retina. The electrodes in the implant unscramble the signal to create a crude black-and-white picture that is relayed along the optic nerve to the brain. The brain can then perceive patterns of light and dark spots corresponding to the electrodes stimulated. If this can work Surgeons will give hope to blind with successful 'bionic eye' operations
